The slightly redone Nike Air Force Max returned in 2013, with the All-Star ‘Area 72′ colorway whipping up some energy around the VT-molded Retro sneaker. This new Dark Grey colorway sorta shares the ‘grey’ profile of the All-Star, although this one opts for a minimal appeal with Wolf Grey and Black trimmings, but who knows – maybe the sneaker customizers will get their hands on these and use ‘em as a canvas. These have begun to hit sneaker retailers recently and Eastbay just reported a full size run of its own stock, so take a look below and see what’s available on my stroes.

The board game Mastermind involves attempting to figure out a secret combination of colored pegs.  In the fashion world, the only two colors you expect from the company by that same name are black and white.  So when we learn that the mastermind JAPAN x Nike Free Run Originals capsule is growing, you have an idea of what to expect and it becomes a matter of which models and how the B&W look gets applied.  A couple weeks after seeing their ZX 500 comes a full-on starting lineup including four other styles with the signature colors and skeleton detailing.  The mastermind x Nike Free Run Rivalry Hi, Gazelle OG, Superstar 80s and Pro Model join the ZXes for a quintet that’d make the Brooklyn Nets proud, and you can draft them into your collection when they hit select retailers starting next Wednesday, July 3rd.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG in black/royal was definitely one of the more celebrated retros of 2013 so far. Shown here is an alternate black and royal look that strays pretty far from that OG look. On top of those key colors, there’s also a little bit of yellow Nike Free Run 4.0 V3 and orange that throws things off quite a bit. The black EXT has a fierce black snakeskin, the red EXT adapt a sick VT suede upper, while the Air Nike Free Run 3.0 V3 Force 1 sorta combines them all with snakeskin and suede.
